IBLV announcement


The Bourguiba Institute for Modern Languages (IBLV) is pleased to announce that a joint program with the Language Village Nabeul will be available to native speakers of English (students from the UK, Ireland, the USA, Canada, Australia) during the July session of the Summer Course in Arabic (i.e. July 2-30, 2010). The Language Village Nabeul (LVN) is a summer language camp organized by the Tunisian Ministry of Higher Education for 300 undergraduate students majoring in English. In partnership with Amideast and the British Council in Tunisia, forty American and British students come to LVN to live and interact with Tunisian students. LVN is thus a unique experience of linguistic and cultural exchanges. The Bourguiba Institute for Modern Languages is organizing the Arabic intensive courses (2-30 July 2010) summer session at the Language Village at Nabeul in parallel with the regular session in Tunis. This session at LVN will be open to native speakers of English who may choose to have Arabic intensive Courses at the Nabeul Site, rather than Tunis. IBLV students will take the intensive course in Arabic, together with the optional and cultural activities, on the premises of the Language Village Nabeul and will therefore benefit from a unique linguistic immersion in a language camp of more than 300 Tunisian students. IBLV students will be exempted from accommodation and catering fees in return for a daily discussion class session in English (one hour and a half) with Tunisian students.
